1. Scope and publisher
This Privacy Policy applies to the Pulse Fury game and its optional online leaderboard features. It does not replace the privacy policies of Apple, Google, Unity, or any hosting provider that operates a separate service.
The publisher and data controller for the services described here is Scale-1 Portal. Privacy questions can be sent to contact@scale1portal.com.
2. Information we process
| Camera and pose data | If you enable player tracking, the game requests camera access and processes camera frames on your device to estimate body-pose landmarks for gameplay. The current game code uses the result for movement and gesture detection; it is not intended to identify you. We do not store or upload raw camera photos or video to the Pulse Fury backend. |
|---|---|
| Local game data | The game may store settings, a locally generated player identifier, local display-name information, cached scores, pending score submissions, screenshots, and other game files in the device's application data directory. This data remains on the device unless you choose an online feature or the operating system backs it up. |
| Platform leaderboards | If you use the optional leaderboard on iOS or Android, the relevant platform may provide a player identifier and display name and may receive scores, ranks, and timestamps. Apple Game Center and Google Play Games Services process this information under their own terms and privacy policies. |
| Support and technical data | If you contact us, we process the information in your message and the contact details you provide. Our hosting provider may also process ordinary request logs such as IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, timestamp, and error details to deliver and secure the website and API. |
The game does not require an account created by us, does not use advertising in the current implementation, and does not sell personal information.
3. How we use information
- To operate the game, player tracking, and optional online leaderboards.
- To calculate scores, prevent duplicate events and abuse, enforce rate limits, and keep the service reliable.
- To respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
- To diagnose errors and protect the service, systems, players, and the public from misuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, the relevant legal basis may be performance of the service you request, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the game, your consent where it is required (for example, device camera access or optional analytics), or compliance with a legal obligation.
5. Retention
- Local game files remain until you delete them, clear the app's storage, uninstall the game, or the operating system removes them.
- Support correspondence and security or server logs are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, legal obligations, dispute handling, and service security. Exact periods may depend on the hosting provider's configuration.
- Apple, Google, Unity, and other independent providers retain information according to their own policies and your settings with them.
6. Your choices and privacy rights
You can refuse camera permission or disable player tracking; the tracking-dependent features may then be unavailable. You can remove locally stored game data by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the game. You can choose not to use online leaderboards.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise a right, contact us at contact@scale1portal.com and identify Pulse Fury and the feature involved. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
For data held directly by Apple, Google, Unity, or another provider, use that provider's privacy tools or contact process. You may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
7. Children
Pulse Fury is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not ask children to create an account with us. If a child has provided personal information through a platform feature, a parent or guardian should contact that platform and us at the address above so we can review the request and take appropriate action.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the service, including access controls and protected API endpoints. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send sensitive information through game input fields, leaderboard fields, or support messages.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game, web service, providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the current version was published. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required.
